Stephen Strange, known as Doctor Strange, is a prominent figure in the Marvel Universe. Initially a brilliant but arrogant neurosurgeon, his life drastically changes after a car accident severely damages his hands, rendering him unable to perform surgery.
Desperate to find a cure, Strange exhausts all conventional medical options. His search leads him to Kamar-Taj, a hidden enclave in the Himalayas, where he becomes a student of the Ancient One, a sorceress who teaches him the mystic arts.
Through rigorous training, Strange masters sorcery and becomes the Sorcerer Supreme, Earth's primary protector against mystical threats. He wields powerful artifacts like the Eye of Agamotto and the Cloak of Levitation, battling interdimensional beings and safeguarding reality itself.
