Biography:
Wally West, known as Kid Flash in the Arrowverse, debuted in The Flash (The CW) Season 2. He is the son of Joe West and Francine West, and the brother of Iris West.
Initially introduced as a street racer, Wally's life changed dramatically when he was struck by dark matter released from the particle accelerator explosion. This incident granted him superhuman speed, mirroring that of The Flash.
Under the mentorship of Barry Allen (The Flash), Wally learned to control his powers and embraced the mantle of Kid Flash. He became a valuable member of Team Flash, fighting alongside them to protect Central City.
Kid Flash later departed Central City to find his own path. He later joined the Legends of Tomorrow. While he returned briefly to Central City on occasion, he eventually left the Arrowverse.
