Prince Xizor was a major antagonist in the Star Wars Expanded Universe, first appearing in the 1996 multimedia project, *Shadows of the Empire*. He was a Falleen crime lord and head of the Black Sun syndicate, a powerful criminal organization.
Xizor sought to supplant Darth Vader as Emperor Palpatine's right-hand man. Ruthless and cunning, he orchestrated events to undermine Vader's position within the Empire. He was a skilled strategist and manipulator, making him a dangerous adversary to the Rebel Alliance and the Empire alike.
Xizor's ultimate goal was to seize power and control of the galaxy, using his criminal empire as a base of operations. He met his demise during the events of *Shadows of the Empire*, his schemes ultimately thwarted by Luke Skywalker and the Rebel forces.
