Prince Xizor was a prominent figure in the criminal underworld of the Star Wars galaxy, operating primarily during the era between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. He was the head of the Black Sun crime syndicate, a powerful organization that rivaled the Hutt Cartel in influence and reach.
Xizor was a Falleen, a reptilian humanoid species known for their pheromone abilities and cunning. He used his natural charisma and manipulative skills to rise to power within Black Sun, becoming one of the Emperor's rivals.
His first appearance was in the novel Shadows of the Empire, a multimedia project intended to bridge the narrative gap between the two Star Wars films. He also featured prominently in the comic book series and video game of the same name.
Xizor sought to undermine Darth Vader and usurp his position as the Emperor's second-in-command. His plans were ultimately thwarted by Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, and other members of the Rebel Alliance, leading to his demise during the events of Shadows of the Empire.
