Biography:
Connor Kenway, also known by his birth name Ratonhnhaké:ton, is the protagonist of Assassin's Creed III, his first appearance. Born in 1756 to a Native American mother of the Kanien'kehá:ka nation and an English father, Haytham Kenway, his early life was marked by tragedy when his village was burned, an event he believed was orchestrated by Templars.
Driven by a desire for justice and peace for his people, Ratonhnhaké:ton joins the Assassin Brotherhood. Mentor Achilles Davenport takes him under his wing and trains him in the ways of the Assassins, renaming him Connor to better integrate into colonial society. He becomes a skilled and deadly assassin, fighting against Templar influence during the American Revolution.
Connor's journey is one of conflict and moral ambiguity. While he is dedicated to his cause, he often finds himself at odds with both the colonists and the British, and even experiences friction with his own Assassin allies. He remains committed to protecting his people's land and freedom, fighting for a future where both assassins and his own people may be at peace.
