Ratonhnhaké:ton, better known as Connor Kenway, is the protagonist of the video game Assassin's Creed III, released in 2012.
Born in 1756 to a Native American mother of the Kanien'kehá:ka (Mohawk) nation and a British father, Haytham Kenway, Connor's early life was marked by tragedy. His village was attacked and burned, an event that spurred him on a path of revenge and a desire to protect his people.
Trained in the ways of the Assassin Brotherhood, Connor became a skilled and deadly warrior. He fought against the Templars during the American Revolution, believing it was a war for liberty and justice, though he often found himself at odds with both sides of the conflict.
