Annihilus is a powerful villain from Marvel Comics, known primarily as an enemy of the Fantastic Four.
Born on the insectoid planet of Arthros in the Negative Zone, he discovered a crashed spaceship containing the Cosmic Control Rod, which grants him power and immortality. Annihilus used this technology to establish himself as a ruthless warlord.
Annihilus first appeared in Fantastic Four Annual #6 (November 1968).
His primary goal is the preservation of his own life and the eradication of any perceived threats. This often leads him into conflict with heroes from Earth-616 (the main Marvel Universe) as he attempts to expand his dominion and conquer new territories.
