Kao Cen Darach was a male Zabrak Jedi Master renowned for his skill with a lightsaber and his dedication to the Jedi Order. He served during the Great Galactic War between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire.
Darach played a pivotal role in the defense of the Republic during the conflict. He was stationed on the planet Taris when it came under attack by Sith forces led by Darth Malgus.
Kao Cen Darach first appeared in the video game *Star Wars: The Old Republic* (2011), where he sacrifices himself to allow Jedi Padawan Satele Shan to escape Darth Malgus's assault on the Taris Jedi academy. His sacrifice buys valuable time for the Republic and makes him a symbol of Jedi heroism.
