Charles Lee Ray, more commonly known as Chucky, is a notorious character in the horror genre.
His first appearance was in the 1988 film *Child's Play*. He is a "Good Guy" doll possessed by the soul of a serial killer, Charles Lee Ray, who uses a voodoo spell to transfer his essence to the doll before his death.
Chucky, often dubbed the "Mystery Doll," retains his murderous tendencies in his new form, terrorizing and killing those around him. The franchise follows Chucky's continued attempts to permanently inhabit a human body and his relentless pursuit of revenge.
