Mercedes "Misty" Knight is a former NYPD officer who lost her right arm in a bombing. Tony Stark provided her with a bionic arm, granting her superhuman strength and various technological abilities.
Knight left the police force and partnered with Colleen Wing, forming the Daughters of the Dragon detective agency. She has a long-standing romantic relationship with Danny Rand, also known as Iron Fist, and the two frequently team up in both personal and professional capacities.
