Misty Knight is a character from Marvel Comics, first appearing in Marvel Premiere #21 (March 1975). She is a former NYPD officer who lost her right arm in a bombing.
Following the bombing, Tony Stark provided her with a bionic arm, granting her superhuman strength and abilities. This arm also has several functions, including a anti-metal repulsor ray which can be used to melt metal.
She often works alongside Colleen Wing as one half of the Daughters of the Dragon, and has also partnered with Luke Cage and Iron Fist.
