Carl Grimes is a prominent character in AMC's TV show, The Walking Dead.
He first appears in the very first episode of the TV show titled "Days Gone Bye". He is the son of Rick and Lori Grimes. Initially a naive and dependent child, Carl is forced to mature rapidly in the face of the zombie apocalypse, becoming increasingly hardened and capable of survival.
Throughout the series, Carl grapples with the moral complexities of the new world, often struggling to reconcile his desire for humanity with the brutal realities of survival within the 'Zombie Survival Crew'. He develops strong bonds with other survivors and evolves from a vulnerable boy into a skilled fighter, taking on significant responsibilities within the group. He is played by actor Chandler Riggs.
