The Pink Ranger is a prominent character within the Power Rangers franchise, adapted from the Japanese Super Sentai series. Her first appearance was in *Mighty Morphin Power Rangers*, an American adaptation of *Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger*.
In *Mighty Morphin Power Rangers*, the first Pink Ranger was Kimberly Hart, portrayed by Amy Jo Johnson. The *Zyuranger* counterpart to Kimberly is Mei, of the Yamato Tribe.
As the Pink Ranger, Kimberly, used the Pterodactyl Power Coin to transform. The character is usually depicted as intelligent, athletic, and has a stereotypical girly personality. However, the team relies on her abilities.
