The Pink Ranger is a prominent character in the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers TV show, which originally aired in 1993. The character is adapted from the Japanese Super Sentai series, specifically Zyuranger.
The first Pink Ranger in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers is Kimberly Hart, played by actress Amy Jo Johnson. She is one of the original five Power Rangers selected by Zordon to defend Earth from Rita Repulsa.
