Biography:
Cindy Moon, also known as Silk, is a superheroine in the Marvel Comics universe, specifically within Earth-616 continuity. Her first appearance was in *The Amazing Spider-Man* Vol. 3 #1 (April 2014), during the "All-New Marvel NOW!" era.
Cindy was bitten by the same radioactive spider that granted Peter Parker his abilities. Shortly after, Ezekiel Sims took Cindy into hiding to protect her from Morlun and the Inheritors. She remained in a bunker for years, honing her powers.
During the events of *Original Sin*, Spider-Man learns of Cindy's existence. Upon her release, Cindy adopts the Silk identity, using her own unique web-shooting abilities and enhanced senses to fight crime. Silk possesses an organic webbing ability, unlike Spider-Man's artificial web-shooters.
