Cindy Moon, also known as Silk, is a Korean-American superheroine in Marvel Comics. She was bitten by the same radioactive spider that granted Peter Parker his powers, but was immediately sequestered away by Ezekiel Sims to protect her from Morlun and the Inheritors.
Her first appearance was in The Amazing Spider-Man #1 (Vol. 3) in April 2014.
After years in isolation, Spider-Man freed her, leading her to develop her own unique powers, including organic webbing and an enhanced Spider-Sense. Silk has since become a superheroine in her own right.
