General Armitage Hux was a high-ranking officer in the First Order, known for his unwavering dedication and ruthlessness. Born on Arkanis to Commandant Brendol Hux, an Imperial officer who helped found the First Order, Armitage was groomed from a young age to lead. He embraced the First Order's ideology of restoring order to the galaxy through oppressive force.

Hux was instrumental in developing superweapons such as Starkiller Base, a planet-destroying weapon. He possessed a fierce rivalry with Kylo Ren for Supreme Leader Snoke's favor, constantly seeking to undermine Ren and establish himself as the primary heir. His ambition often led to rash decisions and tactical errors, despite his otherwise strategic mind.

Throughout the conflict with the Resistance, Hux commanded First Order forces with an iron fist. Ultimately, disillusioned with the First Order's methods and sensing its impending defeat, he secretly aided the Resistance by providing vital information. His betrayal was discovered, leading to his execution at the hands of Kylo Ren.
