Biography:

The Green Ranger is a popular character from the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers TV show, adapted from the Japanese Super Sentai series Zyuranger. The character first appeared in the "Green With Evil" storyline of the first season.

Initially, the Green Ranger, Tommy Oliver, was introduced as an antagonist, brainwashed by Rita Repulsa to fight against the original five Power Rangers. He wielded the Dragon Dagger, which controlled the powerful Dragonzord.

After being freed from Rita's control, Tommy joined the Power Rangers team as the sixth member. His tenure as the Green Ranger was complicated by the fact that his powers were temporary, drawing upon Rita's magic and weakening over time. Despite this limitation, the Green Ranger became a fan favorite for his unique Zord and powerful abilities.
