Biography:

Arthur Douglas was a human real estate agent whose family was murdered by Thanos. In response, his spirit was transferred into a powerful alien body by Kronos and Mentor. This being was reborn as Drax the Destroyer, a warrior with the singular purpose of killing Thanos.

Drax possesses superhuman strength, durability, and endurance. He initially had the power to fly and project energy blasts. These abilities diminished over time, replaced by enhanced reflexes and a heightened sense of detecting Thanos. He is a formidable hand-to-hand combatant despite lacking formal training.

Drax's single-minded focus on Thanos often led to reckless behavior. He was frequently manipulated by others. Over the years, he softened. He ultimately joined the Guardians of the Galaxy, developing close bonds with his teammates. While still prone to literal interpretations and social awkwardness, Drax became a valuable and loyal member of the team.
