Crossbones, also known as Brock Rumlow, is a villainous character within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). He is a skilled mercenary and former operative of HYDRA.
Rumlow's first appearance in the MCU was in the movie Captain America Civil War where he attempts to steal a biological weapon. He is ultimately defeated, resulting in an explosion that injures Wanda Maximoff and sets off a chain of events that leads to the superhero conflict.
Crossbones also appears in the Lego Marvel Avengers video game, as a playable character and enemy encountered in levels based on the movies.
