Melissa Gold, initially known as Screaming Mimi, debuted in Marvel Super-Villain Team-Up #1 (1975).
After a transformation by the Fixer with technology from Klaw, she gained the ability to convert sound into solid energy constructs, rebranding herself as Songbird. This transformation turned her from super villain to a hero.
