Biography:
Melissa Gold, also known as Songbird, first appeared in Marvel Two-In-One #54 (August 1979). Initially a villain named Screaming Mimi, she was a member of the Masters of Evil.
Later, Songbird underwent a transformation in both powers and allegiance. She joined Baron Zemo's Thunderbolts, a team of villains posing as heroes. Over time, she genuinely embraced the heroic ideal.
Songbird's powers allow her to convert sound into solid energy constructs. She can create objects, shields, and concussive blasts using her sonic abilities. Her control over sound also grants her limited flight.
