Batman (Blackest Night) is a reanimated corpse of Bruce Wayne, resurrected as a Black Lantern during the "Blackest Night" event in DC Comics. Unlike the heroic Batman, this version is devoid of morality and driven by the Black Lantern Corps' agenda: to extinguish all light and raise the dead.

Following Batman's supposed death in "Final Crisis," Nekron, the embodiment of death, targeted his corpse. The black power ring latched onto him, transforming him into a powerful undead soldier. His intimate knowledge of the living heroes makes him a particularly dangerous weapon, exploiting their emotional vulnerabilities.

He primarily targets those who were closest to him in life, such as Robin (Tim Drake) and members of the Bat-Family, attempting to force them to experience emotional extremes and ultimately succumb to the Black Lantern Corps. He serves as a key antagonist during the event, representing a horrifying perversion of everything Batman stood for.
