Biography:
Arthas Menethil is a prominent character in the World of Warcraft universe, first appearing in Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos. He was once the Crown Prince of Lordaeron and a promising paladin of the Silver Hand.
Driven by a desire to protect his people from the Scourge, Arthas made increasingly drastic decisions, culminating in the act of purging the city of Stratholme to prevent the spread of the undead plague. This act marked the beginning of his descent into darkness.
Arthas eventually journeyed to Northrend, seeking the cursed runeblade Frostmourne, believing it to be the key to defeating the Scourge. In acquiring the blade, he lost his soul and became a death knight, ultimately serving the Lich King. He later merged with the Lich King himself, becoming one of the most powerful and iconic villains in the franchise.
