Krypto is Superman's canine companion in the DC Universe. He is a white Labrador Retriever with natural superpowers similar to Superman's, including flight, super strength, and heat vision. Krypto wears a gold collar, cape, and often assists Superman in his heroic endeavors.
In the DC Universe, Krypto first appeared in a Super Friends cartoon in 1980, titled "The Dog Days of the Superfriends."
