Sentry, in his persona as the Horseman of Death, is a powerful and tragic figure within Marvel Comics. His first appearance as Sentry was in *The Sentry* #1 (2000).
Robert Reynolds, the man behind the Sentry, gained immense power, but that power came with a dark side: the Void. The Void represented all the negative aspects of Sentry's abilities, often manifested as a destructive force.
During the "Dark Avengers" era, Norman Osborn manipulated Sentry, further destabilizing his mental state. Later, in the "AXIS" storyline, Sentry was briefly transformed into the Death Seed Sentry, a more corrupted and unstable version of the character. This version represents a dark culmination of Sentry's existing flaws and immense power.
