Robert Reynolds, also known as Sentry, is a fictional character appearing in Marvel Comics.
He first appeared in The Sentry #1 (September 2000). Robert Reynolds gained immense power after ingesting an experimental serum called TP1037, granting him abilities rivaling Superman's. He is sometimes refered to as the Golden Guardian of Good.
However, this power came at a cost. Reynolds also possesses a dark side known as the Void, a destructive entity intrinsically linked to the Sentry. His existence and the Void's threat were largely erased from the memories of Earth's heroes and the general population to contain the Void.
