Majin Buu is a powerful and complex antagonist from the Dragon Ball franchise, making his first appearance in the manga during the Majin Buu Saga, specifically in chapter 450, "The Sealed Warrior", and later appearing in Dragon Ball Z episode 208, "Goku Returns".
Originally created by the evil wizard Bibidi eons ago, Buu is a being of immense destructive power and near limitless energy. He possesses the ability to absorb other beings, adding their power and characteristics to his own, leading to multiple transformations.
His initial form, often referred to as Kid Buu, is a purely destructive force with little regard for anything but chaos. However, through absorption and external influences, Buu undergoes various transformations, ranging from the obese and docile form to the more cunning and malevolent Super Buu.
The Majin Buu saga explores themes of good versus evil, the nature of power, and the potential for redemption, as the various incarnations of Buu grapple with their own existence and the influence of those around them.
