Majin Buu is a powerful, magical being featured in the anime television show Dragon Ball Z. He is one of the final major antagonists of the series.
Buu's origins are ancient, predating even the earliest known civilizations. Created by the wizard Bibidi, Buu's sole purpose was destruction and chaos. He was initially dormant, sealed away until Bibidi's efforts to revive him.
Several forms of Buu appear throughout the storyline. The most prominent is the childlike, pink-skinned form often referred to as simply Majin Buu. However, after absorbing portions of the Evil Buu he undergoes several transformations. The initial Evil Buu is a manifestation of his suppressed negative energy.
