Barrel is a mischievous character from Tim Burton's animated film, The Nightmare Before Christmas. He is one of the three trick-or-treating children alongside Lock and Shock who serve under Oogie Boogie.
Barrel, easily identified by his round, barrel-shaped head and skeletal face, is the shortest and arguably the most childlike of the trio. He often displays a gleeful and somewhat innocent demeanor, despite participating in their villainous schemes.
His role is primarily to assist Lock and Shock in carrying out Oogie Boogie's orders, which typically involve kidnapping or causing mayhem.
