Ryomen Sukuna, often referred to as simply Sukuna, is a powerful cursed spirit and a major antagonist in the anime series Jujutsu Kaisen.
He is considered the undisputed King of Curses. Once a human sorcerer from the Heian era, his immense power caused sorcerers to fail at completely destroying him after death. Instead, his twenty fingers were preserved as cursed objects.
Sukuna's soul is now primarily housed within Yuji Itadori, the series' protagonist, who swallowed one of his fingers. This allows Sukuna to occasionally manifest and exert his devastating cursed techniques. Yuji and Sukuna share the same body and are both conscious to the events that are occurring. The first episode of Jujutsu Kaisen features Sukuna, though he is not fully realised at this point.
