Biography:
Ashley Joanna "Ash" Williams, portrayed by Bruce Campbell, is a horror icon first appearing in the 1981 film *The Evil Dead*. Ash begins as a simple store clerk whose life is irrevocably altered during a vacation to a secluded cabin.
The discovery of the Necronomicon Ex-Mortis, also known as the "Book of the Dead," unleashes demonic forces. Ash is forced to confront and battle the Deadites, losing his friends and eventually his hand.
