Clint Barton, known as Hawkeye, is a skilled marksman and former special agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
Recruited by Nick Fury, Hawkeye's expertise with a bow and arrow made him a valuable asset to the Avengers team. He fought alongside Earth's mightiest heroes against threats such as Loki and Thanos.
Hawkeye first appears in a cameo role in the film *Thor* (2011) as a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent observing the events unfolding in Puente Antiguo, New Mexico. He then became a main team member in *The Avengers* (2012).
Beyond his archery skills, Hawkeye is also adept in hand-to-hand combat and tactical strategy. He often uses specialized arrows with various functions, such as grappling hooks and explosives. He has a close bond with Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow, who he refers to as a dear friend.
