Genie Jafar is a fictional character appearing in Disney's animated film Aladdin and its related media. He is the result of the villainous Jafar seizing the Genie's lamp and wishing to become an all-powerful genie himself.
As Genie Jafar, he possesses immense cosmic power, capable of reality alteration and destruction. However, he remains bound by the same rules as the original Genie, notably the restriction of being unable to directly kill someone, grant more wishes, or bring people back from the dead.
His physical transformation grants him a larger, red-skinned appearance with glowing eyes and shackles representing his enslavement to the lamp. He is driven by a lust for power and revenge against Aladdin. Ultimately, his arrogance and insatiable desire for more power become his downfall when Aladdin tricks him into wishing to be the most powerful being in the universe, inadvertently trapping himself inside a lamp, effectively neutralized.
