Anti-Venom (PS5) is a character stemming from the Marvel universe, significantly reinterpreted for the Marvel's Spider-Man 2 video game on the PlayStation 5.

In this iteration, Harry Osborn is bonded with the Venom symbiote as part of Norman Osborn's attempt to cure him of a rare genetic disease. As the symbiote's influence becomes detrimental, Peter Parker attempts to separate Harry from it.

During this attempted removal, a residual connection to Peter's Advanced Suit (which previously contained antibodies from battling Mister Negative) interacts with the Venom symbiote. This interaction results in the creation of a new symbiote, the Anti-Venom.

Harry Osborn then becomes the host of the Anti-Venom symbiote. Unlike the traditionally malicious Venom, Anti-Venom has the potential to heal and cure afflictions. However, the game's narrative explores the complex relationship between Harry, the symbiote, and its ultimate purpose, raising questions about control and the nature of healing. As the game progresses, Harry uses Anti-Venom to try and heal people, but the Symbiote can also become harmful to those it heals.
