Biography:

Anti-Venom is a character featured in Marvel Comics, primarily associated with Eddie Brock. He first appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man #569 (October 2008).

Eddie Brock, formerly the host of the Venom symbiote, found himself cured of cancer by a new symbiote created from remnants of Venom within his body interacting with his white blood cells. This resulted in a new, radically different symbiote: Anti-Venom.

Unlike Venom, Anti-Venom possessed healing properties and the ability to "cure" individuals of various ailments, including drug use and symbiote influences. However, his powers also proved detrimental to some, particularly those with Spider-Man's powers. While initially an antagonist, Anti-Venom evolved into a complex anti-hero, often working alongside Spider-Man.
