Biography:
Ichigo Kurosaki is the main protagonist of the anime series Bleach. He first appears in the anime's debut episode, "The Day I Became a Shinigami."
Ichigo is a high school student with the ability to see ghosts. His life is forever changed when he encounters Rukia Kuchiki, a Soul Reaper, during her pursuit of a Hollow. When Rukia is injured, she transfers her Soul Reaper powers to Ichigo.
Forced to take on Rukia's duties, Ichigo becomes a Substitute Soul Reaper, battling Hollows and protecting humans from their spiritual attacks.
