Biography:
Cliff Secord, known as the Rocketeer, debuted in Starslayer #2 (Pacific Comics, 1982), created by Dave Stevens.
A stunt pilot in 1938 Los Angeles, Cliff stumbles upon a stolen rocket pack, built by Howard Hughes, hidden at a local airfield. Driven by opportunity and adventure, he quickly learns to operate the device.
Adorned with a distinctive helmet and streamlined aesthetic inspired by aviation history, the Rocketeer battles Nazi spies and gangsters who are also seeking the advanced technology. Cliff's primary objective is always to protect those around him and the rocket pack from falling into the wrong hands.
The "Pad Printed" version is most likely referring to a variation of the character figure that has a printed finish as opposed to a sticker or decal.
