Biography:
Gar Saxon was a Mandalorian warrior who played a significant role during the Clone Wars and the Galactic Civil War. He was fiercely loyal to Darth Maul, serving as his enforcer and right-hand man after Maul took control of Mandalore.
During the Clone Wars, Saxon participated in the Siege of Mandalore, fighting against Ahsoka Tano and Republic forces. Following the rise of the Galactic Empire, he became the Emperor's hand on Mandalore, effectively ruling as a puppet governor in exchange for Imperial support and resources.
His allegiance to the Empire was driven by a desire for power and stability, even if it meant suppressing Mandalorian traditions. This led to conflict with his own people, including Bo-Katan Kryze and the rebel group, the Protectors.
Saxon ultimately met his demise on Mandalore, killed by Ursa Wren after a duel with her daughter Sabine Wren. His death marked a significant blow to Imperial control over Mandalore and paved the way for the eventual resurgence of Mandalorian independence.
