Namor, introduced to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, is the mutant ruler of Talokan, an underwater civilization descended from a Mesoamerican society forced into the sea by 16th-century colonizers. He is portrayed by Tenoch Huerta Mejía.

Born with gills and winged ankles, Namor is considered a mutant due to his unique physiology and abilities. He possesses superhuman strength, speed, and durability, particularly when submerged in water. His winged ankles allow him to fly.

Driven by a fierce desire to protect Talokan from the surface world's exploitation, Namor initially presents as an antagonist to Wakanda. He perceives surface dwellers as a threat and is willing to take drastic measures to ensure his people's safety and continued isolation.

Despite his adversarial role, Namor is not purely villainous. He demonstrates a deep love for his people and a strategic mind, positioning him as a complex figure whose motivations stem from a history of oppression and a desperate need for self-preservation.
