Biography:

The Minecraft Witch is a hostile mob found in the video game Minecraft. She was first added in the 1.4.2 update, also known as the "Pretty Scary Update," released on October 25, 2012.

Witches dwell in swamp huts and attack players, villagers, and other mobs by throwing various harmful potions. These potions can inflict poison, slowness, weakness, or instant damage.

Identifiable by her pointed hat and purple robes, the Witch is a somewhat uncommon enemy. Upon death, she may drop ingredients used in potion brewing, such as glowstone dust, redstone, spider eyes, sugar, sticks, glass bottles, and gunpowder.
