Biography:
Dalek Ironside is a unique Dalek encountered in the Doctor Who TV Show. It first appears in "Victory of the Daleks" (Series 5) as a seemingly harmless component of Professor Bracewell's secret weapon during World War II.
Initially disguised, Ironside and its brethren are introduced as technologically advanced assistants, purportedly created by Bracewell to aid the British war effort. They appear battle-worn and damaged, leading to their nickname.
The Ironsides, however, are ultimately revealed to be part of a cunning Dalek plan to create a new generation of pure Daleks. They manipulate events to trigger the activation of the "progenitor," which allows them to produce new Daleks, thus revealing their true, malevolent nature and allegiance.
