Amelia "Amy" Pond (tally marks omitted for character count) is a fictional character in the long-running British science fiction television series *Doctor Who*. She served as a primary companion to the Eleventh Doctor, portrayed by Matt Smith.

Amy first appeared as a child in the 2010 episode "The Eleventh Hour," where she met the Doctor after he crashed his TARDIS in her garden. Years later, she rejoined him as a young woman on the eve of her wedding to Rory Williams.

Initially portrayed as headstrong and independent, Amy journeys with the Doctor exploring time and space. Her relationship with Rory is a central element of her storyline, evolving from childhood sweethearts to a married couple facing extraordinary challenges together.

After adventures across time, Amy and Rory ultimately made the heartbreaking decision to allow themselves to be touched by a Weeping Angel, stranding them permanently in the past to be together. Their final appearance was in the 2012 episode "The Angels Take Manhattan."
