Biography:
Amelia "Amy" Pond, portrayed by Karen Gillan, is a fictional companion of the Eleventh Doctor in the British science fiction television series Doctor Who. She first appears in "The Eleventh Hour" as a young girl in Leadworth, Scotland, where she meets the Doctor after he crash-lands in her garden.
Years later, she rejoins the Doctor as an adult and becomes his traveling companion alongside her fiancé, Rory Williams. Amy is characterized by her headstrong nature, her initial distrust of the Doctor, and her complex relationship with Rory. She often displays bravery and quick thinking in dangerous situations, although her impulsiveness can sometimes lead to trouble.
Throughout her travels with the Doctor, Amy faces numerous alien threats and adventures. Her storyline is intertwined with the mystery of the crack in time, the Silence, and River Song, who is revealed to be her daughter, Melody Pond. Amy and Rory ultimately depart the TARDIS in "The Angels Take Manhattan," choosing to live out their lives together after being permanently sent back in time by Weeping Angels.
