Biography:
Beta Ray Bill is a fictional character appearing in Marvel Comics. He first appeared in The Mighty Thor #337 (November 1983), created by Walter Simonson. Bill is a cyborg from the Korbinite race, chosen to be his people's champion and protector.
Originally designed as monstrous-looking, he proved himself worthy to wield Thor's hammer, Mjolnir. As such, he was granted the powers of Thor and, after a brief conflict, became an ally. Odin, recognizing Bill's worthiness, ordered the creation of a new hammer, Stormbreaker, specifically for Beta Ray Bill, granting him similar abilities to Thor.
Beta Ray Bill has since become a recurring character in Thor storylines, often fighting alongside the Asgardian hero against various cosmic threats. He is regarded as one of the noblest and most powerful beings in the Marvel Universe.
