Bo-Katan Kryze is a Mandalorian warrior who first appeared in the animated TV show Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
Initially a Lieutenant in Death Watch, a Mandalorian splinter group seeking a return to their warrior roots, Bo-Katan served under Pre Vizsla. During this time, she became involved in plots to destabilize Mandalore's pacifist government.
Over time, Bo-Katan's allegiances shifted. She became disillusioned with Death Watch's alliance with Darth Maul. This led to her forming her own faction and fighting to liberate Mandalore from Maul's control, leading her to seek assistance from the Jedi Order and the Republic.
Later in her life, Bo-Katan became the leader of Mandalore and wielded the Darksaber. Eventually, she lost the Darksaber and struggled to regain it. This part of her journey is closely tied to Mandalorian tradition and leadership.
