Bo-Katan Kryze is a Mandalorian warrior prominent in the animated series *Star Wars: The Clone Wars*. Her first appearance is in the episode "Death Watch" from season 2.
Originally a Lieutenant in Death Watch, a Mandalorian splinter group seeking to return Mandalore to its warrior roots, Bo-Katan served under Pre Vizsla. She initially followed Vizsla's alliance with Count Dooku and the Separatists during the Clone Wars.
Later, disillusioned by Maul's takeover of Mandalore, she refused to acknowledge him as ruler and formed a resistance movement. Throughout the series, and beyond in *Star Wars Rebels* and *The Mandalorian*, Bo-Katan fights for control of Mandalore and the Darksaber, believing herself the rightful heir to the Mandalorian throne.
Her character arc evolves from a zealous follower to a leader striving to restore Mandalore's honor and independence, often grappling with the complexities of leadership and the legacy of her past.
