Sylvie Laufeydottir is a character from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), appearing in the Disney+ series Loki. First appearing in "Glorious Purpose", 2021, she is a variant of Loki from an alternate timeline.
Sylvie's existence was pruned from her timeline by the Time Variance Authority (TVA) as a child. She escaped and spent her life hiding and plotting against the TVA, believing them to be corrupt. This motivates her actions throughout the series.
Played by actress Sophia Di Martino, Sylvie possesses similar powers to Loki, including illusion casting, shape-shifting, and telekinesis. Her goals directly conflict with those of the Loki variant encountered in the series, leading to a complex and evolving relationship between the two.
