Biography:

Wanda Maximoff, known as Scarlet Witch, is a prominent character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). She first appears in a mid-credits scene of Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014), alongside her brother Pietro, as subjects of Hydra experimentation.

Orphaned at a young age during a conflict in Sokovia, Wanda and Pietro volunteered for experiments conducted by Hydra, led by Baron Wolfgang von Strucker. These experiments involved the Mind Stone, imbuing Wanda with powerful telekinetic, telepathic, and energy manipulation abilities. She initially aligned with Ultron against the Avengers, blaming them for her parents' death.

However, she later defected and joined the Avengers, fighting alongside them against Ultron. Wanda continued to be a vital member of the team, honing her powers and battling threats like Thanos.
