Biography:

Ponda Baba is a character from the Star Wars universe, specifically the Original Trilogy.

He makes his first and only appearance in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. Ponda Baba is an Aqualish thug found in the Mos Eisley Cantina.

Alongside his companion, Doctor Evazan, Ponda Baba confronts Luke Skywalker. A brief altercation ensues, ending with Obi-Wan Kenobi defending Luke by severing Ponda Baba's arm with his lightsaber.
